For as long as I can remember I have always had the need to be creative. When my husband and I purchased our first home, everything had it's place and everything had to be done a certain way. I can't even count the amount of times people called me "Martha Stewart" I always took this a compliment.
My, how things have changed. 11 years married to my amazing husband, 3 homes and 3 children later. I no longer am accused of being too much like Martha Stewart, however my need to be creative may have dimmed a bit over the baby years it was never lost. My children now all school age.
Following the purchase my first DSLR camera I discovered this love of photography I never really knew I had. Which re-lit my creative fire that I was so desperately craving. I had always been the one to take the photos, archive, document and eventually scrapbook all these memories but never thought of it as a possible career. I thenmade the realization with loads of inspiration from Christine Kufske (Click Photography) this new found love of photography could also be a new career, which brings me to today. I always dreamed of running my own business and now my dream has become a reality.
With so many friends and fellow photographers motivation and support. I have made the leap from just doing this for fun to doing this for real and making it my new career.
My style is relaxed and carefree. I want you to be comfortable because I now that being in front of the camera isn't always the most natural place for everyone to be. I like to act a bit crazy sometimes just to get that little smirk or even a smile from the shiest of people.
I can't wait to meet with you and capture your moment in time.
